This week I'd like to feauture some of my favorites from Paris Chic Boutique.

This one is just a darling and our best seller. One of our first customers commissioned us to paint this saying. She says it to her daughter every night when she tucks her into bed. Such a sweet story behind it makes it even more precious!

These wall hangings are made of a white ceramic tile measuring 4" x 4". They are hand painted with the Eiffel Tower (of course!) and then kiln fired making all artwork permanent. You can choose your ribbon color to match your decor. Choose from a wide variety of colors.

*Little secret...there is a wire behind the bow, wrapped in matching ribbon. Hang from the wire this way the bow sits perfectly and doesn't pull. Like magic!

Baby Boy Week ~ Petit Garçon! Featuring baparsell!

These are toooooo cute ~ trés mignon. We came across yet another Etsy shop that seems to take creativity ~imagination to another level! We introduce you to baparsell. As a husband and wife ~ mari et femme team, they live a natural lifestyle ~ mode de vie naturel and create these fabulous hats ~chapeaux ! They customize too- so you can choose your color and size; newborn and up!

One is better then the next that I just had to show you more then one. And I had such a hard time picking out these, so just go and visit their shop ~ visiter leur magasin so you can see the whole selection. Not only for the boys ~ les garçons, there are so many for girls ~ filles too, like the strawberry ~ fraise hat...oh so divine!

And the tomato...oh, I could go on and on! Look at all of the detail on the cupcakes ~petits gâteaux , they look identical to a real on and must look adorable on your little one's head!

This week we are featuring baby boy ~ petit garçon products, especially because I've been shopping ~ faire les courses for an upcoming baby shower. I've come across all of these adorable baby products. One cuter ~ mignon then the next. But these are so creative and very functional ~ créatif et fonctionnel!

Here pangaroo, our featured Etsy shop, makes these Wee Wee Toppers as a set of 3. They come professionally packaged ~ professionnellement emballé and in various fabric designs. They are extra absorbent with two layers of flannel material. And like I said before, they will be a hoot at the baby shower ~ douche de bébé! I can't wait to see the mom-to-be's reaction!

Welcome back ~ dos bienvenu! We haven't been around in a while, we must apologize ~ demander pardon. Many changes... we've moved to a bigger and better location. We are all settled in now and can start to get back to business ~ affaires !

Today : Aujourd'hui we are so pleased to feature RecycledIdeas. She is not only a wonderful artist : merveilleux le artiste in her spare time but she helps to make the planet : planète a better : le meilleur place through her artwork, through spreading the word on her blog and by her work in her "day job" as a PhD who conducts interdisciplinary research : recherche on primate behavior.

Here is a great example : Voici un grand exemple of her fine work with these Seed Embedded, Leaf Embossed Organic Cards. They are organic and made by her from junk mail : publicitaires envoyés par la poste, lavender, and lavender seeds from plants grown in her own hometown! The cards have lavender seeds embedded in the pulp so when you're finished with the card, you can plant it : plantés, cover with a thin layer of soil, and keep it damp. Then in a few weeks you may see some sprouts that with proper care will grow into lavender plants.

Now thats recycling : recyclage!

Week 1: Bijoux! Featuring SandyBDesigns

So sorry the post is late today. I had a nesting feeling So I cooked and baked all day. For dinner : le dîner I made a chicken pot pie from scratch. I covered the top with potatoes: parmentier instead of a dough top. (Apologies to the vegetarians: vegetariens reading). And for dessert : le dessert (that one's easy - same word just use that french accent!) I baked chocolate chip cookies. Simple but a classic! Who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies?

While I was eating all of these cookies (the diet is out the window on day 4!), I came across this gorgeous charm bracelet brought to us by today's featured Etsy shop, SandyBDesigns. Even though we wished everyone a Happy New Year yesterday, we will have to say it again for the first day of the year...

It's a cold ~ Il fait froid and dreary day ~ le jour here in NYC. Did everyone see those crowds in Times Square? I saw on the news that people actually wore Depends so that they can wait there all day and night! That's crazy! Once you get into those barricaded areas you cannot leave...no bathroom, no food or drinks! And people were there from 7AM. Although I am from ~ Je suis de New York I have never been there on New Year's. I say maybe one day but I think it's more comfortable watching the ball drop from a TV! Où vis-tu?: Where do you live?

Week 1:Jewelry or Bijoux! Featuring Trésbelle

Ok, even though we started the blog and said that we will teach a new french 'saying' everyday, we thought that maybe it might be best to start with a few words at a time to get the ball rolling.
That said, we will start week 1 with the topic of Jewelry. Everyone loves something that sparkles and shines or jingles and jangles!

Today we will be featuring an item from our Aussie friend, Trésbelle.

These beautiful colors look great on any fashion all year round.
