Week 1:Jewelry or Bijoux! Featuring Trésbelle

Ok, even though we started the blog and said that we will teach a new french 'saying' everyday, we thought that maybe it might be best to start with a few words at a time to get the ball rolling.
That said, we will start week 1 with the topic of Jewelry. Everyone loves something that sparkles and shines or jingles and jangles!

Today we will be featuring an item from our Aussie friend, Trésbelle.

Trésbelle Autumn necklace... or in french un collier.

These beautiful colors look great on any fashion all year round.

We found trésbelle's Etsy shop http://tresbelle.etsy.com/ while surfing around and love her style. And from one newbie to another we wanted to say "way to go"!

So today's lesson taught you 2 new French words;

Jewelry = Bijoux

necklace = un collier

Extra bonus...we just learned that trés belle = very beautiful in french! Wow!
