Week 3: Animalerie ~ Pet Shop! Featuring EFA Members - Ninnerfish

Awww, look at this bunny : lapin! I couldn't resist featuring today's : auhourd'hui EFA, Etsy for Animals, member - artist : le'artiste, Ninnerfish. She is a wonderful artist by night : nuir and she helps cure : guérir the animals by day : jour while studying to be a vet. You can find tales of her "day job" on her blog http://www.ninnerfish.blogspot.com/

and more of her great paintings of cats : chats and dogs : chiens.

Her Etsy shop shows off her paintings while she raises money to donate : faire don de some of her proceeds to EFA.

In honor of this month's : cette semaine's charity, Buckeye House Rabbit Society www.ohare.org, we showcased this cute bunny rabbit : lapin. The House Rabbit Society is a wonderful charity that fosters and finds homes for abused : mauvais traitement, abandoned, and neglected bunnies that would otherwise be destroyed in shelters. They also offer permanent refuge for buns whose personality or medical issues prevent them from being adopted : adoptif.

I love the way she paints lights and darks, it's a beautifully distinct style. It's terrific! : C'est fantastique!

Please visit : Sil'vous plait visite her shop along with Etsy for Animals to purchase an item.

It's for a good cause. It's worth the price : Ça vaut son prix.

Week 3: Animalerie ~ Pet Shop! Featuring Mvegan5

Bonjour chacun! : Hello everyone!

We are now starting our third week of topics while we showcase other Etsy sellers and their shops. All the while we'll say it in English and we'll say it in French : dites-le en français.

Hope you are enjoying your lessons : lecons!

This week : cette semaine, our topic is "Animalerie ~ Pet Shop". We will be featuring animals and animal related products.

We start with our favorite artist : l'artiste and most known animal lover on Etsy, Mvegan5. Her shop is a wonderfully creative menagerie of animal paintings : peintures, prints, notecards, jewelry : bijoux and more. When you buy her beautiful work on Etsy a 10% of the proceeds are given to the charity of the month, which currently is Buckeye House Rabbit Society: http://ohare.org.

We applaud you, mvegan5 and all of your support to these blessed creatures.

The above picture of the cat : chat is a painted photo she did of a rescued kitten named Zeke. It also represents a sample of her commissioned custom work. She will create a unique portrait of your favorite pet from a photograph, how magnificent : c'est magnifique!

Elle aussi : she also founded Etsy for Animals. All items listed in that shop are donated by Etsy members and 100% of all proceeds will go to the EFA Charity of the Month (less shipping and other expenses).

If you are interested in donating please visit:http://etsyforanimals.blogspot.com/2007/08/donating-to-efa-store.html for information.
